Narayan has over 17 years of banking experience - largely in corporate and transaction banking. He commenced his career with Citibank in Transaction Banking operations, then spent a couple of years in Sales and Relationship Management. Narayan has also worked in the CEO's office on strategic initiatives and headed the corporate assets business and Electronic Banking. He has been in the current role of Structured Lending Head for the Citi Private Bank in India, since August 2007.

Narayan is a Post Graduate in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
