R.P. Sinha, Dy. Managing Director (Information Technology), State Bank of India (SBI), joined State Bank of Patiala as a Probationary Officer in 1972 and has had a distinguished service of over 36 years, with an illustrious track record. A Gold Medalist from Patna University, Sinha has held, with distinction, a variety of critical and challenging assignments in the Bank. Sinha has been a Faculty in the State Bank Academy, Deputy General Manager and Zonal Head in State Bank of Saurashtra, Deputy General Manager (Credit) at State Bank of Patiala, General Manager (CI & IB) at State Bank of Indore, General Manager (Tech) at State Bank of Hyderabad and then Chief General Manager at State Bank of Hyderabad. Presently, he is heading the Information Technology portfolio of State Bank Group, the largest banking conglomerate of the country, which has achieved a number of landmarks during his incumbency.
